Catherine’s Memorial Statue

Catherine would whisper to every creature she met, “Tell all your friends that I am kind.” She wanted them to know that they could trust her and she would always keep them safe from harm. To commemorate that purity of spirit, a bronze statue of Catherine will grace the sanctuary green, keeping watch over the animals she held so dear.

Created by artist Lauren A. Mills and her husband, Dennis Nolan, the six-foot statue will be meticulously detailed…all the way down to the depressions in the rock which will collect water for birds, bees and the woodland creatures who call the sanctuary home.

To raise funds for the sculpture, ten numbered and signed 18-inch bronze maquettes are being commissioned for $8,800 each. After the first ten are purchased, there will be just a few more available at gallery pricing. An artist’s sample is on display at the sanctuary’s office in Newtown, CT and viewings are available upon request.

Featured in Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, the maquettes are quickly becoming favorites of artists, collectors, and animal lovers. To donate to this project or purchase a maquette, please contact us at info@cvhfoundation.org or through the donation link below.
